Sherry Cobbler

1 teaspoon powdered sugar

3 ounces sherry wine

In a goblet, dissolve the powdered sugar in carbonated water. Fill with shaved ice and add the sherry wine. Stir well and decorate with fresh berries and a sprig of mint.

Gin Sling

1 teaspoon powdered sugar

1 teaspoon water

½ lemon, juiced

2 ounces dry gin

2 ice cubes

In an Old Fashioned cocktail glass, dissolve the powdered sugar in water and add the lemon juice. Add the gin and ice cubes, stir. Finish with a twist of lemon peel.

For a non-alcoholic beverage, try this lovely Lavender Lemonade! It’s tasty, refreshing, and oh-so-pretty with a dainty little sprig of lavender placed in each glass!
